December 2015

Dear Co-Laborers,

We greet you in the wonderful name of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. Cassie and I trust this letter finds each of you well and busy in the service of our wonderful Lord.

The past few months have been very busy, but also full of the manifold blessings of God. Recently, at our annual Macedonia Conference hosted by Dr. Chris Haizlip and the Calvary Baptist Church of Statesville, NC, we were blessed to see two people trust Christ as their Saviour. As a result of that, we were reminded yet again of the world’s greatest need, which is the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Please join us in praying that God would raise up laborers for His harvest. Truly the night is coming when no man can work. We have recently had two different interviews at our home office of potential MWBM missionaries and are excited about those that God will call in the future to take the Gospel to the world. Yes, we rejoice in those that have been saved, but at the same time, our hearts are broken for those who have yet to hear the Gospel. Therefore, we continue to go, to pray, to give so that other souls might be reached for Christ before it is eternally too late.

We also praise the Lord for traveling mercies. Cassie and I have “fanned the flame of world evangelism” recently in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Tennessee, New York, Illinois, and of course, our home state of Georgia. There is no way that we could continue to do that without your faithful prayers and support. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.

We also wanted to praise the Lord for answered prayer! I was blessed to have some much needed     surgery in November. I’m doing much better now and am on the road to a full recovery. Also, after over a year on the market, our house in Covington has finally sold. We look forward to moving closer to our home office so that my work there can be more efficient in the days to come. Will you help us pray that the Lord would lead us to the very place that He would have us to live? Thank you so much for joining us in prayer.

Finally, we are currently at about 75% of our needed support. We look forward to the day when we are fully supported so we can do more effectively what God has called us to do. In the meantime, we thank you again for your prayers and financial partnership. Truly, we thank God for you and for your fellowship as we continue to labor together to reach the world with the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sincerely for souls,

Dr. and Mrs. Scott Caudill

February 2015

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers in the Gospel,

I hope this latest update finds each of you well and joyous in the service of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Cassie and I thank the Lord not only for the privilege of serving Him, but for the opportunity to partner with each of you in this great endeavor of reaching the world with the glorious Gospel of Christ by planting Independent Baptist Churches through local churches just like yours.

The last few months have certainly been busy to say the least. Upon writing this letter I thought that I would look back in my date book to the very first Sunday of May 2014 that Cassie and I began full time deputation. From that Sunday to the last day of December of 2014, I have preached 122 times in 67 different churches. Through it all, the thousands of miles, the many different churches and faces, the Lord has been so good to supply our every need. We are currently around 45 to 50% of our needed monthly support for which we are tremendously grateful. We are hoping to raise the additional 50% by the end of the year so that we will be able to spend more time at the home office. Whereas I realize that fanning the flame of world evangelism in churches across America will always be a part of the job that I love, I also have a personal goal of physically being on the mission field at least once a quarter to help and encourage our MWBM missionaries around the world. In order for that to become a reality I must first raise the needed monthly funds to do so. Therefore the additional support is our greatest need at the current moment. Will you please make that a matter of prayer?

Another great need we face is to raise awareness for monthly support for our home office at Macedonia. If MWBM is not a part of your monthly missions budget let me encourage you to log on to www.mwbm.org and watch the eight-minute video explaining the tremendous need. If you or your church could partner with us as we serve our church planters around the world I’m sure that much fruit would abound to your account. We look forward to laboring with you in the days to come for the cause of Christ.

Cassie and I are excited to be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on February 24. We give the Lord glory for the past 25 years together, and we trust Him to use us in an even greater capacity in the days to come.   Until He comes it is our desire to be busy in His service for His glory.

We were reminded what serving the Lord is all about a few weeks ago at a meeting in Salisbury, NC. when a   12-year-old girl by the name of Tahlia trusted Christ as her Saviour. It never gets old friend. The Gospel still works! Jesus still saves! God is still good! Therefore, we will continue to do what He has called us to do with your help. Thank you so very much for your continued prayers and financial support. Rest assured the Lord is working through you to make a difference in this world for the cause of our wonderful Lord. Keep up the good work for God! Cassie and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,
Dr. Scott Caudill

November 2014

Dear Friends and Co – Laborers,

Greetings to each of you in the lovely name of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ. Cassie and I hope that this letter finds each of you well, and busy in the service of our wonderful Lord.   First of all let me begin by saying, “Thank You” for your investment in our ministry. So many of you have given both prayerfully and financially and it has enabled us to continue to do what the Lord has called upon us to do. We can’t even begin to tell you what your faithful support has meant to us.

We’ve just finished up sixteen straight weeks on the deputation trail participating in missions revivals, special “Missions” Sundays and presenting the work of Macedonia World Baptist Missions. We’ve traveled as far west as Vancouver British Columbia, as far north as Maine and as far south as Florida. I’m happy to be able to report that fruit abounds to your account as a result of it as well. Just a few weeks ago while preaching on the thought, “One Sinner” out of Luke chapter fifteen a fourteen year old young man named Aaron walked the aisle, knelt in the altar and was gloriously saved by the good grace of God. Praise the Lord! There is more fruit abounding to your account as well. Within the last few weeks we’ve approved three new missionary families that will eventually be planting churches in Nicaragua, Haiti, and Europe. I certainly praise the Lord for answered prayer and would encourage you to continue to pray that God would send forth laborers into His harvest. Truly the hour is late, and the need to reach the world has never been greater.

When you pray, please remember to pray for our safety as we travel, an increase in our monthly support as we continue on deputation, as well as the touch of God on our lives. More these days than ever before we realize that without Him, we are absolutely nothing. There is also a tremendous need for an increase in the monthly support of our home office here at MWBM. Please make these things a matter of prayer. For more information about the great need of MWBM log on to mwbm.org and read the “Do You Know How Much We Need You” page.

Again, we can’t thank you enough for your faithful support. I trust that each of you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas season. I look forward to meeting each of you personally soon. Until then, God bless.

Sincerely,

Dr. and Mrs. Scott Caudill
